Referral Pathways

Who can we support

Families and young people

If you, your parents, a family member or friend is in recovery from substance or alcohol misuse our family foundations project is here to help. We can offer support in the home, community or in schools. We work not only with the family as a whole unit, but with extended family members, communities and directly with children and young people if required.

Volunteers

All of our volunteers are fully trained. We provide them with a nine week training programme to ensure they have the confidence, skills and knowledge to deliver a high quality service to our families, young people and partners. Our volunteers have a wide range of unique and varied skills, ranging from child development to counselling. Some of our volunteers are trained peer mentors and have particular experience around the issues facing families and individuals with alcohol and substance misuse. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or know someone who may be, please follow the link becoming a volunteer to find our more and contact us.
